- I've sailed five of the seven seas and have rescued Wentworth's backside on more than one occasion. I won't say that he owes his promotions to me ... just his life.
Currently I reside in Bath at my estate, Belsom Park, and I am working to straighten out my late father's business affairs. Now that Napoleon is confined to Alba the war has lost its appeal, and I am considering retiring from the navy altogether. My only child, Cleora (now fifteen), resides in Richmond with my late wife's sister (and her numerous progeny). What do I know about raising a lovely young girl?
It so happens that I am unattached and am on the lookout for female companionship. No giggling girl just out of the schoolroom will do, not this time. I want a woman who knows her mind and who is timbered up to my weight.
